Overview

A return to the museum, this time with Boni, was followed by R.’s arrival and a look at the Hercules Farnese before a drive to the Mercato Vecchio. After a walk on the Chiaia, a street fiddler delighted the diarist with the style of his playing.

Wednesday, October 4:

In the museum again, this time with Boni, to make her acquainted with certain things. R. catches up with me, I show him the Hercules Farnese; after that, drive to the Mercato Vecchio. In the evening, a walk on the Chiaia.

After our return, a street fiddler pleases me greatly with the style of his playing.
