Mystical Wagner is my independent project exploring the philosophical and spiritual dimensions of Wagner’s music dramas.
It began with Tristan und Isolde and Parsifal, two works that appeared to me as revelations that changed how I listen to music, and with a wish to understand what they are doing and why. That search grew into the interactive librettos, the collection of prose works, Wagner’s letters, Cosima’s diaries, and the guide to Wagner scholarship you find here.
