The museum drew them back again until noon, then they drove to Capo di Monte and returned along the Via Vittorio Emanuele. In the evening, San Carlino offered vigorous Punchinello acting, though the play itself seemed slight.

Tuesday, October 3:

Went to the museum again and stayed there till noon. After lunch, drive to Capo di Monte and back along the Via Vittorio Emanuele. In the evening in San Carlino, Punchinello as a street vendor, very vigorous acting, but not much of a play.
