Most of my time spent with Mimi. In the evening, third act of Die Walküre, splendid impression. Herr Brandt’s “Magic Fire” magnificent; Herr Doepler’s representations of the Valkyries not good.

Overview
Most of the day was devoted to Mimi, giving the entry a quieter family focus. In the evening, the third act of “Walküre” made a strong impression, especially Brandt’s “Magic Fire,” though Doepler’s Valkyries were disappointing.
