Diary Entry of March 23, 1876

Overview

The morning was filled with calls from important people, and Bucher joined us at breakfast before more formal visits and a farewell dinner with Mimi. She reported the Emperor’s admiration for Tristan and the Crown Princess’s serious interest in it, and I left Leipzig that night after saying goodbye to her.
