Saturday, February 26:

Frau v. Schl. writes that the Emperor has commanded the performance of Tristan for the benefit of our theater, which does not please R. overmuch; it means he loses his royalties, and the small proceeds are not much help. He works, I teach and prepare for our journey.

Spent the evening in conversation.
