Still the same activities; R. continues to occupy himself with the Arabs through the work of Baron Schack. In the evening Shakespeare’s Richard II, my favorite among the historical plays. Reading one act gives rise to endless amazement, admiration, rereading, discussion; it is as if one had never grasped it all before, a complete revelation! ...
