I am worried that I received no letter from you today. Could my last letter—of Monday—have been lost? However that may be, I at least hope that no accident has prevented you from writing to me.
I just want to tell you briefly that today I have the second and last concert, and will arrive tomorrow evening in Paris. Make sure that I find you well; that is the main thing. All the rest will be all right now!
