Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of June 2, 1871

Overview

Cold rain and continued reports of killings in Paris darken the household after the brief fair weather. Letters bring Kathchen's wish to return and Mathilde Maier's anxious objections to the building plans and debt. With no walk possible, the evening settles into Carlyle.
