Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of March 14, 1871

Overview

Richard works hard on a soldier's folk song for the march, but the deadline-driven labor strains him. The children's illnesses continue, with Lulu unwell and Fidi and Loldi hoarse. Lenbach's planned visit and the noisy starlings offer livelier notes in an otherwise pressured day.
