Content

Sunday, June 26:

R. and I are up early; he takes his waters, and we have breakfast in the summerhouse, from which the rain soon drives us. Our conversation revolves around yesterday's reading, and it is an inexhaustible subject.

In the afternoon our friend Herr Levi visits; there are discussions about the performances.

In the evening we chat, still much about Gobineau, whose book (Religion, etc.) R. has finished.
