Saturday, November 27:
R. slept well; he goes to his work and is satisfied with what he has done, but much less so with the weather; he feels so run down that he does not go out. In the evening he reads me the letters to Uhlig.

R. slept well and made progress at his work, though the bad weather left him depleted enough to stay indoors. The day remained quiet, ending with more letters to Uhlig read aloud in a subdued atmosphere.
