Diary Entry of October 9, 1880

Overview

Fine weather restored R.’s spirits completely, and he delighted in Venice from both boat and street with unrestrained pleasure. The day also brought a happy reunion with Mimi, and in the evening music from Tristan stirred him enough that he sang passages himself afterward.
