Off early; unfortunately vexation at once, and a very great one for R., since the saloon carriage does not arrive; it takes him a long time to calm down. But gradually the journey restores his spirits, and the town of Padua, among other things, makes a very pleasant impression on him. At 4 o'clock in Venice.

Immediately went to look at the Palazzo Contarini, which pleases us, then went to the Danieli, and in the evening showed Lusch Saint Mark's Square.
