Overview

After a decent night, R. was physically better but still bitter, especially over another attempt to approach the Grand Duke of Weimar on their behalf. The day was shadowed by his resentment toward princes and ended with Lusch falling ill with a fever.

Wednesday, February 11:

R. had a good night, and if it were not for his thoughts, he would be well, but he is full of resentment. He says the last straw is the knowledge that another approach has been made to the Grand Duke of Weimar on our behalf, and he tells of his experiences with the various princes. Lusch goes to bed with a temperature.
