Overview

R. slept more calmly and his fever eased, though the inflammation still continued and he experienced vague hallucinations. Even so, his appetite and humor remained intact, giving the day a slightly more hopeful tone.

Sunday, December 7:

R. had a good and tranquil night. His temperature has gone down, but he still has what seem like mild hallucinations, and the inflammation is spreading. But fortunately his appetite is good, and his divine sense of humor is not deserting him.
