Sunday, November 4:
Translation; great difficulties - the simplest of things cannot be expressed in French. Took the children to the children’s theater. Snow White. R. comes to fetch us; in the evening some scenes from Love’s Labour’s Lost.

Overview
Translation proves frustrating, especially in trying to carry meaning into French, and the day is punctuated by a children’s theater outing. The family returns together later, ending the evening with scenes from Shakespeare.
