Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of October 11, 1877

Overview

The day was spent partly with the children and partly on practical arrangements, while R. focused on Parsifal and the household logistics. In the evening, a reading of Tieck’s tale cast a strong spell over everyone and stirred memories of how deeply it had affected R. in his youth.
