Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of April 27, 1877

Overview

Letters from Loldi arrived, but they were balanced by continuing business troubles and growing unease about the wider political situation after war broke out between Russia and Turkey. The next day brought more domestic sorting out and a fresh round of legal and theatrical complications that left Richard deeply vexed.
