Overview

The Hotel du Nord proved unusable, forcing a search for new rooms before settling elsewhere. On returning, they found splendid flowers sent by Beppa on behalf of several ladies, and afterward made calls beginning with Frau Laussot.

Wednesday, December 6:

The Hotel du Nord turns out to be impossible. I go to inspect hotel apartments; on my return, I find splendid flowers, brought by the famous Beppa on behalf of various ladies. We move out and then pay some calls, first of all to Frau Laussot.
