Diary Entry of August 27, 1876
R. went to fetch the King in the night once more, and Prince Georg visited in the morning. By evening we heard Rheingold, then spent time with Marie Donhoff, as demand for the third cycle stayed high and the earlier rumors were proved false; Herr Betz, however, seemed more and more careless.
Sunday, August 27:
R. again went to fetch the King during the night. Visit from Prince Georg in the morning. In the evening Rheingold. Afterward with Marie Donhoff. Demand for the third cycle great; the bad rumors have had time to prove false. Herr Betz increasingly negligent.
