Diary Entry of August 26, 1876
After Frau Eckert’s morning reception, the Frenchmen Laurent and Bovet gave us lunch, keeping the day socially full. Later our own house held an artists’ reception, while Prince R. Liechtenstein again missed the third cycle because his illness returned.
Saturday, August 26:
The Frenchmen (M. Laurent from the orchestra, and Bovet) give us a lunch after Frau Eckert’s morning reception. In the evening an artists’ reception in our house. Prince R. Liechtenstein will not hear the third cycle either, since he is ill again.
