Domestic arrangements and a dinner for Prof. Bernays, the mayor, and the church councilor fill the day, but the atmosphere remains unusually pleasant. She values his learning, and even more that he understands and appreciates R., before the two of them continue together in the evening.
Monday, April 17:
Domestic affairs, dinner for Prof. B., the mayor with whom he is staying, and the church councilor.
Very nice atmosphere; the Prof. is very knowledgeable, and perhaps more valuable and less usual, he appreciates R.
In the evening together again.
