Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of October 15, 1875

Overview

The morning farewell is deeply felt as R. accompanies me to the station and I take Fidi to Altenburg, his goodbye carrying more pain than he shows. By evening I am in Altenburg with the orthopedic specialist, and the children’s arrival from boarding school turns the day into a mixture of laughter and tears.
