Thursday, April 29:

A good night for R.; he looks very well, thank goodness; much disturbance in the house. In the afternoon a walk in the palace gardens, visit from the mayor, discussed the accommodation question, great hardness of hearing.

In the evening an amiable conversation with R. about children and what makes them what they are.
