Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of March 2, 1875

Overview

Exhaustion set in after the concert, and Countess Donhoff was even ill from it. Alongside letters, an academic address, and visits from Heckel and Prince Rudolph Liechtenstein, the day carried the afterglow of a performance so influential that even people who never attended the theater had come.
