Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of February 6, 1875

Overview

The children go to the theater with our married couple, though the young wife still feels oddly distant to us, and even lunch brings a small misunderstanding over Glatz’s singing. A tender letter from Doris von Berckefeld asking me to be godmother to her son brightens the evening, which ends with music from Beethoven and some pieces by FJenny.
