Content

Wednesday, July 28:

Lessons with the children; showed them Raphael pictures. Eva still unwell. In the afternoon took Loulou to her piano lesson. Informed Countess Bassenheim of several things; warned her against our doctor as against a spy, since his relatives live in Munich.

Colonel Am Rhyn reports that R. cannot deny the rumor of the King of Bavaria's presence, since this was printed in the Catholic newspaper! Saw little of R. today. Letter from Judith in Munich. I reply at once.
