Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of July 17, 1874

Overview

Cosima feels physically unwell and must strain just to keep herself upright, while the summer weather remains dazzlingly pleasant. Wagner works through his third act but is hampered by setbacks and missing materials, and the family’s visit at the end of the day brings company without much relief.
