Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of July 21, 1869

Overview

The children remain Cosima's center, though Siegfried, Eva, and Boni are all unwell and cause worry. The Mendes couple return for music and garden time, proving excellent people despite the inhibiting French element Cosima feels in them. Richard grows tired but writes kindly to the ill Esser and firmly to Schott about the Jewish pamphlet affair.
