Monday, November 3:

R. has had a letter from Baron Erlanger, saying he is prepared to promote the undertaking to the best of his ability. R. writes to the King once again, appealing to him for a guarantee and announcing his visit on the 15th.

At the house, which is now making progress; I in the conservatory until moonlight falls on the leaves. In the evening conversed with R., since Malwida did not come.
