Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of August 11, 1872

Overview

Sunday was quiet and domestic, with letters to Lenbach and M. Much, family lunch, and a small improvement in Loldi's eye. R. remained absorbed in his essay while we took a peaceful walk. The mail also brought social invitations and visits, including the Wesendoncks' daughter's wedding, Frau Lehmann's arrival with her daughter, and Levi the conductor coming to call.
