Overview
The weather briefly improves with a warm foehn wind, and Eva's birthday brightens the day. Wagner returns to work after reading a lecture by Dollinger about the Greek church, and they take an afternoon walk. She then becomes ill with a severe headache, while he reads her more of Frau Wille's book in the evening.
