Overview
Cosima prepares to depart, says goodbye to the children, and finds a few more lines from Wagner waiting at the station. She travels in the evening and reaches Basel by nine. The day closes in company with Fritz Brockhaus and Nietzsche, shifting her from the children's household back toward Wagner's circle.
