Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of November 24, 1871

Overview

Lucca writes warmly from Italy, proud and happy over Lohengrin, and letters also come from Richter and Boito. Spiegel arrives to copy the sketch for the King, though Cosima finds his presence in the household unwelcome. Countess Bassenheim helps prepare the folio for Hans, and the Republic continues in the evening.
