Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of November 21, 1871

Overview

Wagner is unwell and resentful over the copy he must make for the King, finding no pleasure in the task. Heckel sends plans for organizing Wagner Societies, Lohengrin moves toward Florence, and Cosima must pay a fee connected to the missing money order. A beautiful walk, healthy children, and discussion of furnishing the Bayreuth house give the day practical and domestic balance.
