Overview

On the morning of the scheduled Tristan premiere, Wagner wires his relief at Pusinelli's news that Minna's attack was not fatal after all, wishes her a happy recovery, and thanks him for his true friendship.

Letter

A thousand thanks for your last news. The sudden change after the most terrible apprehension is only to be compared with my whole strange destiny. Best greetings and wishes for a happy recovery. Moreover, you may realize in what excitement I now live, but all will be wonderfully fine. Thanks for your true friendship; maintain it for me.
