The Management instructs me, dear sir, herewith to reply to your petition of the 16th of this month, that the leave of absence requested for Herr Schnorr von Carolsfeld must be refused, since it has been decided, with the exception of charity performances and special festivities, henceforth not to grant applications for an extracontractual leave to those company members who are entitled to a leave in their contracts.
