Dear Richard!
I have something more to add that I left out of my last letter of the 18th of this month. While thanking you cordially for the piano score of the Walküre, I must nevertheless ask you please to send me the conclusion as well, since, as you can see from the return package, I have only two acts.
Will you make me happy by also sending me the piano score of the Rheingold? There's really nothing which gives me more pleasure than to be able to occupy myself with the products of your spirit.
Have you completely gotten rid of erysipelas? How much I wish that you are enjoying the best of health. If no special accidents occur, I shall see you again next summer, though I should not want to be afraid of keeping you from your work. I should not want to do this for anything in the world, and I shall probably visit the Bernese Oberland.
When you have the opportunity, give my regards to Herr Andermauer.
Farewell and remain faithful to your
Tichatschek
