Overview

A note, identified by Mrs. Burrell as from Röckel (probably Eduard, August's brother, a music teacher at Bath), reporting that the poet Putlitz regretted missing Wagner and had raved about Minna's acting in Magdeburg.

Letter

The poet Putlitz much regrets not having met you in my home; he was a great admirer of yours in Magdeburg and always rushed to the theater as a senior student; when Minna played he raved about her.
