Overview

On a sudden Alpine expedition with the Wesendoncks, Wagner sends Minna, then visiting her family in Zwickau, a thousand greetings from the Seelisberg.

Letter

We went to Stachelberg, on the Sand Alp, then through the Klön Valley, over the Pragel, and to Brunnen by way of the Muota Valley; yesterday I brought them to the Seelisberg, and here I'm writing to you, my good wife, with deep emotion, to offer you a thousand greetings.
