Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of August 30, 1871

Overview

Fine weather allows Wagner to work and Cosima to teach before dinner with Brassin and Bucher. A walk follows, but Wagner is tired and irritated by Brassin's relentless theatrical anecdotes. The day is otherwise quiet, marked by ordinary sociability and a letter from Madame Ollivier.
