Friday, June 3:

R. had a bad night, and he is not well. At lunch he is downright explosive in favor of Christian theories in contrast to racial ones. The doctor advises a drive, and we undertake one to the Eremitage.

Cheerful mood, but in the evening he feels worn out and goes off to be by himself.
