Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of December 26, 1869

Overview

The children go to church, then gather for lunch and Cosima's comedy. A letter to Lusch from her aunt seems almost to demand the child's return, throwing Cosima into an inner struggle over whether to send her. With Boni unwell, Cosima writes near the nursery and commits the Christkind poem to paper.
