Thursday, December 6:

Work. I am able to do some translation; R. had a tolerable night, too. In the afternoon I visit Herr Feustel, and then, unfortunately, have to inform R. that Herr Feustel is very surprised by the latest decisions. R. is very upset by this, and in consequence unwell!

In the evening we take up Dozy's History of the Arabs, which R. wants to read again.
