Overview

Palm Sunday was spent in a family and religious rhythm, beginning with church and followed by a meal with her father. The day also included a discussion of the London undertaking and an attempt by R. to recruit Dr. Forster to take over the festival, which met with some openness.

Sunday, March 25:

Palm Sunday. To church with the children, afterward to the Catholic church to fetch my father. Merry meal together; in the evening told him much about our London undertaking.

Postscript to Palm Sunday: Dr. Forster from Leipzig here. R. tries to persuade him to take over the festival, and then he would also allow him to do the work in Leipzig. Dr. Forster seemed not entirely unwilling.
