Palazzo Pitti and the Uffizi through the lovely corridor, then the wonderful Boboli Gardens. In the afternoon a drive, then a visit from the very pleasant Marchesa Tanari; in the evening the syndic Tacconi.

Overview
The day moved from the Palazzo Pitti and the Uffizi, through the corridor and into the Boboli gardens, to an afternoon drive. Social visits followed in the person of the agreeable Marchesa Tanari and later the syndic Tacconi.
