The Palazzo Borghese was visited and admired, and the afternoon was spent in calls, including one at Cardinal Hohenlohe’s house. Later, a musical evening at Herr von Keudell’s featured Sgambati again, and R. pledged to have the quintets published in Germany.

Visited the Palazzo Borghese, quite splendid!
In the afternoon drove to Cardinal Hohenlohe’s house and also paid some other calls.
In the evening, a musical evening at Herr v. Keudell’s, again Sgambati, two quintets. R. promises to get them published in Germany.
