Overview

He began the day at a rehearsal of his father’s "Hunnenschlacht" and came away pleased, then visited the Albertina to study Michelangelo’s folios. He returned in high spirits, only to settle into the tedious task of copying a letter from R. to Herr Fürstner, who was still pressing for royalties.

Saturday, November 27:

Early in the day I went to a rehearsal of my father’s Hunnenschlacht; pleasant impression. Then to the Albertina, where I looked at the Michelangelo folios, and returned home in fine spirits. There I had to copy out a letter from R. to Herr Fürstner - this fine, gentle man is still insisting on royalties!...
