Diary Entry of July 2, 1875
Rehearsals filled the whole day, with Betz arriving, a theater visit, guests at lunch and again in the evening, and only small intervals for work with the children. The presence of the Bruckner brothers added to the bustle, and R. was clearly in good spirits amid the activity.
Friday, July 2:
Rehearsals morning and afternoon; arrival of Betz; visited the theater; guests at lunch, guests in the evening, always managing between times to do a little work with the children.
The Bruckner brothers are also here, much activity, R. visibly pleased.
